How to Wear Rose Quartz For Summer 2016

Pantone announced the colours for 2016 late last year. The pastel shades of Rose Quartz and Serenity are calming colours. You will see the colours infiltrate fashion, homewares and interiors as stylists embrace the colour trend for 2016. If you’re wanting to get inspiration on how to wear these colours this summer, we’ve put together some tips on how this hue can look good on you. This post will focus on rose quartz. We will share how to wear serenity and how to wear the two colours together in separate posts.

Rose Quartz is a pink that looks to be a mix of peach and blush. Blush was a big trend last year, teamed with copper accessories, so it will be no surprise if rose quartz is styled similarly to it’s blush counterpart.

The best colours to team your rose quartz pieces is with whites, greys, pale blues and charcoals. If you find wearing a dress or rose quartz top washes your complexion out, add a bold coloured necklace to add colour and contrast. Rose gold and copper accessories will contrast beautifully with rose quartz. Even pearls will add a romantic and feminine feel to the colour.

We will definitely see Rose Quartz in winter fashion – especially in coats and blazers. For now, we’ve sourced some summer and autumn pieces that you can add to your wardrobe now.
