Unwanted Dogs Pose : But Dog Gone I Am Cute!

Dog lovers know that their beloved companions have personality in spades! But how do you convince a potential new owner when you are an abandoned dog at a shelter? The Humane Society of Utah has come up with a unique idea that has totally taken off.

Photographer Guinnevere Shuster is the brains behind the beauty of dogs in a photo booth. Genius! Unwanted dogs pose for the camera…or play, at least. With treats and strange smells, the natural inquisitiveness of dogs and a quiet camera snapping away behind hidden glass, the viewer sees all.

Unwanted dogs pose without realising they may be attracting a new owner. And thankfully all the dogs here have happy new homes. It got me thinking about our own canine companions  and the photos we try to take without a snuggly dog inspecting the camera. We’ve probably all been to parties where there has been a photo booth. If you hire one for your own party, have you taken photos of your dog after the party’s over?
